Image Hosted by ImageShack.us MAGTANIM AY DI BIRO..

I really dont play any online games until an application from a social networking site was introduced to me - The Farmville of Facebook.
My sister, who is now based  at Australia with her family keeps bugging me to join and be her neighbor to expand her farm. What the heck!  I kept ignoring it but she was very persistent until i gave up and joined the mainstream. Funny though because beforehand there's a lot of Farmville gifts/items pending for my approval from my FB friends as well as invitations to be their neighbor.
If you remember, i recently lose my job this Nov. 17 (but i was blessed to sign a new contract on the 25th to a competent BPO company and im just waiting for their call for my training - which i just received earlier today - woohoo!). So going back, habang tambay pa ako sa kasalukuyan i had to kill my time and my boredom. So aside from updating my blog and consuming my spare time chatting and going on social net sites, I also joined Farmville (and Fishville). At first, i really cant handle the game because it needs a lot of patience. e mejo mainipin ako. But how this damn game works?! Well, its sort of a virtual farm simulation wherein you are given a small lot to expand with a customizable farmer as your avatar. Then you must learn to plow, seed and harvest which really takes time. You can wait for at least 2hrs up to 3days hanggang sa yumabong ang iyong itinanim na  puno, flowers, fruits or gulay - earning you some gold coins na maaring magamit sa market to buy veggies/fruits/farm animals/decors/trees/flowers/other items and even vehicles. You may also modify your farm with these buy/sell stuff which gains you an extra xperience level but cost you a lot of coins whereas you might end up using your paypal acct or credit/debit card just to make it one of a kind (which i did - pero once lng to buy more than a dozen of diff colored haystack to create the facebook logo and the phil flag for pride xmpre which you can see inset). Its a challenging game lalo na kung ang mga neighbors mo ay nagevolved na into super farmers gaining more than a million coins and almost at 40 - 70 xp level. whoah!
Now im doing a lil trick which i found out after i experienced a technical glitch while helping out my neighbors fertilizing their crops to gain coins and xp. Pero I also find out na marami na rin pla ang nakakaalam nun and they even share it online esp at Youtube. There are also some cheat applications made for this game para mapabilis ang earnings mo ng coins and xp level -  the Axife Mouse Recorder and the like. It actually records your mouse clicks and movements then repeats and plays it for as long as u want even without touching your pc. I actually downloaded it and made it  a try. And shoot it really works!!! However its very sensitive kasi while the app was doing the job for me i accidentally hit my mouse and  the app click on some stuff and opened new windows na di nmn dapat at geez! nahirapan akong iclose yung app bec it was set to repeat for 50x. Good thing wla nmng files sa pc ko ang nagalaw pero may mga stuff nmn sa Farmville lot ko ang nadelete and namisplaced. Karma! haha.
I know its just a virtual game and that's why i hate being engaged in this kind of stuff because its sort of addictive and now im really hooked. Badtrip nga lang kc knina i was at level 20 going 21 because of an abundant harvest of pineapples and daffodils + doing my lil trick of course, lol. However there was a sys glitch and the page needs to be refreshed which I did, but unfortunately ang mga pinaghirapan ko bumalik sa level 19. WTF! I have to do it again but i need to wait for another day til my new set of seeds of daffodils and poinsettias are good to go. Now the farmville is undergoing a maintainance due to a lot of glitches (like loosing all your neighbors, your gifts from friends arent showing, and frozen screen, etc.) and quoted.. "Howdy farmers! We are currently resolving intermittent issues with accepting gifts and loading the game. Thanks for bearing with us. Happy farming!"
This maybe a result of their expanding players/farmers online. Magtanim nga naman ay di biro and players will do everything to top the other farmers. At dahil jan marami pa akong itatanim na bigas.. este palay pala. lol. :D

>> Psst.. If you like the game please be my neighbor.. thanks! :) <<

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us TOUCH - MOVE!!!

Touch - Move! The rule is, when you hold a piece at the chess board you must take a move and place it at any square possible - walang bawian ika nga. Same goes to our lives. Although theres a second chance, once we choose a path there is no turning back.
This misadventure actually started when i was unable to report for work for uncertain reasons. Then when i came back, my world collapsed bit by bit. Sa pagkakaalala ko, I asked a workmate yesterday for my plotted schedule this week - it was a 4am to 1pm shift. Geez closing pa rin!!! Pero oks lng dahil sanay na. Mejo excited nga ako at kinakabahan kaninang madaling araw pagkagising ko bago pumasok because hindi ko alam kung paano ko haharapin ang aking superiors at kung anong sasabihin ko sa kanila to save my ass! Anyway I made sure na maaga akong makakaalis ng bahay para di ako late na makarating dahil mas badtrip kapag naging ganoon ang sitwasyon. Ehehehe..
I took a mejo patok na jeepney ride along with the early birds - yung iba papuntang palengke dala ang kanilang mga paninda at ilang bayong and yung iba'y mukang papasok din sa napakaagang trabaho. It was the usual day at habang binabaybay ng sasakyan ang kahabaan ng highway ay mejo hindi ako mapakali sa mga sermong maaari kong marinig mamaya sa office.
Finally there i was at my destination and twas like the phase of time was a bit slower. Also my heart was pounding unstable while i was walking through the stairway papuntang entrance. Inside, i went to the locker room to get my headset and my water bottle then i  immediately headed to the restroom to ensure i will be a bit presentable kung sasabunin man ako sa loob ng call floor. tsk! Toot toot! After the alarm for my door access i heard someone calling my name. Buong name ko actually - and thats unusual because they call me by my nickname. Geez! Twas my new Team Leader behind and was holding a cup of coffee. I was breathless that moment until she asked if ano na ang nangyayari saken.. But I was speechless.
I was even more surprised when she look at my headset and said na di ako pwede magtake ng calls today dahil she tagged me as AWOL sa command center and then she gave me my options. I apologized  for what i did but i didnt know why i decided so quickly and mentioned that i might or will be resigning and leaving the company. Damn! Did I made the right move or did i just made another senseless act? With no questions asked, she preceded and spoke to our head about my situation and it was official. Now all i have to do is to submit my resignation letter to make the deal professional.
It was a really bad experience for me this day that i made the wrong move and im thinking na bawiin ko yung mga sinasabi ko but i need to stand on my decisions. Touch - Move and Checkmate na nga! Eventhough i consulted my team mates and some co-workers and close heads, although theyre sad about it since theyre expecting more of me - the decision was quite unanimous (parang boxing lang). Its better to leave now and look for a new rather than wait for 30 days more para ibalik ako sa work. Well accdg to them the chances are not that big enough - besides Xmas is near and dapat may income ako when it strikes. :'(

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us 2012: THAT'S 3 YEARS TO GO..

Mark your calendars guys and be prepared! The 2012 is only about 3 years from now.  tsk3! But the big question is if the mass destruction depicted in this film will occur or if its merely fictional.
Though im puzzled, i still dont want to close my doors of believing of what other people foresee in the near future. Malay naten or baka nga.. Ewan! *Basa - pahina 20 chapter 12. lol. But seriously, accdg to scholars, the 2012 phenomenon was based primarily on the Mayan Calendar which claims that the world will undergo a transition and a massive transformation which will be in effect on December 21 or 23 of 2012 - di pa pinaabot ang Xmas. Hence, it will be the start of an apocalypse. whoah! (thats scary..)
Now lets talk about the film.. The story started on 2009 when  scientists found a big solar flare erupted at the sun. Along with that, an Indian scientist - Satnam, who was based in a deep copper mine also discovered that the earth's core temperature was unstable and heats rapidly. Adrian (Chiwetel Ejiofor) - also a scientist, was invited to witness this and immediately headed back to the state to report this incident to his chief. Soon they went to the White House and discuss it to the president. By 2010, the American government along with the other head of the nations, aristocrats and multi-billionaires did a protocol and made it confidential to the public. In 2011, different artifacts and great works of art were preserved and had it replaced with replicas to keep it safe for the upcoming catastrophe.
By 2012, Jackson Curtis (John Cusack) - author of Farewell of Atlantis and divorced to his wife went for a limo ride with his kids for a camping trip at Yellowstone Park. From there they discovered that the lake and grounds were now off-limits until they were captured by some armed troops. They were relocated to a different camp site and met a bizarre man - Charlie. He was a radio jock stationed under his camper truck and spreads Mayan predictions. At first, Jackson denies all of Charlie's somehow crazy stories about the impending onslaught and the near end of the world cycle until a great earthquake shattered the state of California - then the whole world...
The next scenes were all heart pounding and jaw dropping. From car and plane chase.. Falling bridges and skyscrapers. Destruction of great world landmarks - everything! Their interpretation of having  the world devastated was completely superb. Come to think of it? In reality we already experienced some of these scenes (like the ashfall, volcanic eruptions, drought, tsunamis, earthquakes) but still, the authority assures of our safety. WTF! Do they have plans or even, are we all prepared?! Onga nmn. Well, going back to the film, it ended like one of the stories in the Bible - The Noah's Ark. Vast waters covered most of the world  and even reached the highest peak - Mt. Everest. It was year 0001 and soon the water recedes and the earth's crust shifted and collided til it created a new land. It was like a new world.. A new beginning.. A new cycle.
Lets all just be prepared because we were all warned. Theres still a time for a change but nonetheless we can all stand a chance. Though i was pissed off for paying a good seat to watch this movie but ended choosing to stand up along with the crowd or go downstairs sa deluxe - One time screening pa! Pero ayos lng nkita ko nmn some of my androidz berx sa baba having the same situation. At least we were all seated. Yun nga lng sumakit ang leeg namin kakatingala sa malapit at napakalaking white screen. hehe. XD

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us FRIDAY THE 13TH: GOOD OR BAD LUCK?

I admit, that everytime it turns Friday the 13th i became more cautious. Why? Coz a part of myself fear of the dangers and lil horrors that i may encounter. Buti na lng and so far (parang redundant), i never had a chance to experience any tragic moments.
But believe it or not this was a good and a bad day for me for a lot of reasons. First, a day before 13 strikes our cute white pup died - Si Kulas (wataneym) he loss his appetite and got fleas. tsk3! Second, until now my 2yr old smartphone malfunctioned and i cant seem to let it work so i will have it checked by a technician maybe by tom - good thing i have a spare handset. whew! Third, forced evicted na si Tom sa PBB house dahil he lost his temper after losing the PBB Big Battle. haha. (anong kinalaman nun?) fanatic lng cguro aq ng dos. lolz. Tapos, Third, i think im gonna lose my job (fingers-crossed). I havent reported to my superiors for a while and explain my situation for my truancy. I honestly dunno what to say. Sana payagan pa nila ko bumalik by next week or else i'll be looking for a new job soon - Mhirap ata magstart from scratch.. And if i fail, i maybe spending my xmas and new year - Bankrupt. Argh!
However going to the lighter side there were also some good stories to share.. One, sweldo na!!! and may bonus ulet ako. Pero gastos na nmn. hehe.. Two, level 9 nako sa Fishville (fb app) so now i can buy and sell some clownfish and other stuff. lolz. Isip bata! Then third, Globe called and offered me a reservation for an Apple 3g S handset. Thats a very good news but the bad thing is if how will i pay for that expensive gadget. Pwede ba free?! or next year installment. Ahaha.
Anyway, whether we choose to believe this superstition or not - Our life and luck will depends on how we choose and decide. It maybe coincidental but we cant deny the fact that Friday the 13th may soon again strikes. Its always posted at the calendar and thats a date! >: D

Psst. Do you have the some Friday the 13th stories to share? Post and share it at my comments page..

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us BOY OH BOY.. ASTROBOY!!! -

Astroboy - 鉄腕アトム or Mighty Atom is one of my favorite Japanese anime robot of all time! It was first published in 1952 as a manga and was first aired in Japan in 1963. Whew! Hehe. Parang kailan lng, it was a manga then nabroadcast as tv series, then hit game consoles and collectibles and now its on big screens..
The story is all about the adventures of a humanoid named Astroboy with some other cool characters and set in an advance time of Metro City. It began from a grief scene when Toby (Astro) mysteriously disappeared after a sudden attack of an experiment - The Peacemaker due to a malfunction. Dr. Tenma who's a great scientist and  head of The Ministry of Science eluded the fact of the lost of his only son due to the tragedy. So he meticulously crafted a one of a kind robot and with the help of Dr. Elefun and his blue core artifact, they were able to create and made life to a humanoid having the memories of Toby. However from day to day it made Dr. Tenma  observed and realized that the presence of his real son cant be replaced by anyone or anykind.
Soon Toby discovered that he was just no ordinary boy but was actually a robot equipped with great ammo and other cool stuff.  He learned that though he's unique, he had someplace somewhere in the world - as a superhero always ready for an action for the good sake of Metro City and mankind. naks nman! Mejo bitin ang story pero ayos lng. But i hope theres a sequel and im thinking of more battle-scenes.
Now i am looking forward to watch these three next attractions. The Avatar by renowned Director James Cameron which will hit on Dec. 18, 2009 worldwide. The Avatar: The Last Airbender Aang of Nickelodeon by Summer of 2010 and the 2012 by November Friday the 13th. :-D

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us BOTO MO IPATROL MO: AKO ANG SIMULA!

Ngaung taon lang kasi ako nagkaroon ng pagkakataon na makapagparehistro as a new voter with my 23 years of existence. Whew! Its better be late than never ika nga. Hehe. I was also amazed with their biometrics kaso nabadtrip lng ako sa photo op kasi dugyot na ako that time dahil sa init and it was a short notice na nagkaroon ng remote registration sa aming lugar kaya hindi na ako nakajaporms. But i was even proud that i had to practice my rights to vote and choose whom i know is deserving for the coming elections and if im not mistaken it will be by mid summer of 2010 to cast our votes for a new President at umaasang ang sinumang mailuluklok ay ibabangon tayo sa naghihingalong sitwasyon ng ating bansa.
(Iniisip ko pa rin yan hanggang sa ngaun) There were some of the same faces from the last elections. TraPo o Traditional Politicians ika nga. May mga tuta ng administrasyon at mayroon ding independent candidates at maging nasa oposisyon. There were also young, elite and new breeds - and some made a big mark in politics, showbiz and  in other fields. But is that enough?! Maybe to some.. Politics is now a business - And definitely if its a business, theres always money involved. Kaya magulo at mapusok rin ang buhay pulitika sa Pilipinas but they had their own ways na mapabango ang kanilang reputasyon and needs to be consistent to be on top. They even donated some of their campaign funds (from friends daw and supporters as they claim) to provide assistance sa mga higit na nasalanta ng bagyo. And they even penetrated the e-net to reach more public - especially the youth. Hi-tech n daw kc kaya nkikisabay sa uso.
Based on statistics, this was the first that more and more youth had signed and pledged to practice their rights as new voters and participate in the upcoming 2010 elections. Wherein you can shout out the current political situation in your town. Dasal ko na nawa'y maging matagumpay ang darating na halalan 2010 kahit di pa mapagdesisyunan kung automated ba o same old skool ang process ng pagboto. But for now, let the candidates take the floor rigorously to introduce and prove themselves and show what they can and what theyre willing to do for the country. I dont want to name names dahil di naman ako nangangampanya o nanghihikayat ng kandidato - Pero make sure that by 2010 your vote counts! :-)

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us HOYOYOY ONDOY > > CHAPTER 8: WINAKO!!!

Ako, Si Cha, Jay and Moi also witnessed how the Marikeňos held hand in hand and shoulder to shoulder if you would say saving their loved ones and their livelihood.
At last we made it to the highway! But damn, mukhang mas malayo pa ang aming lalakbayin. The road from Katipunan going to Marcos Highway was jammed. Ala eh! The scenario was bumper to bumper. All sorts of vehicles and passengers were there. May badtrip, nasiraan, usisero’t nagtsitsismisan at may chillax lng. So instead of riding a usual patok jeep going home, we have agreed to walk a few kilometres more along with the others. It was also a great opportunity to see the riverscape from the overpass that morn and get a vast view of the mass remainder brought by the onslaught at xmpre konting exercise. Hehehe.
Habang binabaybay naming ang kahabaan ng kalsada, I recall what I saw late last night, nagpang-abot pala ang langit at lupa. I witnessed how the raging waters kissed the still crossing. There were large dents exposed at the crossings end. Kung paano nangyari un?! It could be due to a strong crash made the barge or by unrestrained water pressure or maybe by both.
Then little by little we reached SM Marikina and I would like to give credits and kudos to the site developer, planner, archt and engrs who constructed the new landmark.
It was a good thing na doon kami napadaan because we luckily met a co-worker and an acquaintance. He was stranded at SM Marikina that same night and he has his own story to share. But anyway, thanks to him because he was very kind enough to share a pack of his pandesal and mayo spread bought at Save More. Hehe. :-P

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us HOYOYOY ONDOY > > CHAPTER 7: PUTIK YAN!

Happy Birthday to You 5x...
Then off we go...
Putik yan! As in it was literally putik. I was also stunned seeing watermarks on concrete and glass walls as i walked along the oozy staircase. Damn! It was overhead! Can you imagine?! E what more pa sa ibang lugar at sa may mas mababang terrain. Our site was elevated from Bonifacio Ave. which means that the surrounding houses were flooded almost at the ceiling line of their ground floors. Good Lord we were secure the whole night.
The once picturesque view of Marikina Riverbanks was now a ruin. You can’t even describe how disoriented the place was. But I’ll give it a shot... A lot of different establishments and households around were shattered. Aged narra trees at the riverpark were also destroyed. There’s an inch thick of mud everywhere. There was even a crowd of bystanders and stranded passengers who maybe spent their overnight on rooftops or along the overpass at SM Marikina. Cars were overturned and some were floating by the riverbed. Foods, garments, appliances and other bits and pieces you can think of were scattered everywhere. Even bloated flesh of livestock was nearby.
It was a shocking occurrence, pero nangyari na ang lahat.  The rain was nature and God's will - No questions ask. And I think we just have to blame only but ourselves for the situation. Ganyan talaga ang buhay... Ganyan din maningil ang Inang-Kalikasan. :-(

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us HOYOYOY ONDOY > > CHAPTER 6: WHAT’S YOUR EMPLOYEE I.D.?!

Delikado raw ang sitwasyon sa labas and they had to wait until that time. There was an urge of going home right there and then, but there was also a fear if it is safe drifting back home...
“What’s your employee id?” Hmmm. Akala ko may follow up questions pa tulad ng, “What’s your MAN id or Avaya/extension id?” Kaya pinaghahandaan ko na habang nasa pila. I even glanced at my identification card and tootoot card este scan card inside my pocket just to be sure. Mhirap na – pagkaen din yun! Sayang! Hehehe.
Then, there it was, chowtime na naman! Parang fiesta sa nayon. Kumaen kami sa long table sabay lagok ng Virgin Cola instead of sipping a hot coffee or tea para mainitan ang sikmura.

Dahil sa amin kasi, no pens, no papers and no other stuff sa loob. Anyway, that’s their policy and we can’t break it – somewhat.)
Tangan ang ballpen, I pounded the tin can with its ballpoint at binuksan ang lid via cutter. Its chowtime! Hahaha.
Ganun talaga siguro kapag nasa ganito kang sitwasyon.

From time to time a cellphone battery dies... Mainit at mas dumidilim sa paligid until it was a total blackout. Then we heard coach RJ shouting from somewhere and telling us to gather to one place until makarating ang reinforcement. Hearing that announcement was quite a relief.

So nakihakot din kami. It was I, Jay, Jen, Cez and Moi who decided to go at nagbabakasaling mayroon pang naiwan na pwedeng higaan.
Jackpot! Hehehe... Ready... Set... Go!

*Zzzt – Electricity was shut down but the downpour rises. Twas about past noon at tomgutz na ako. I remember di ako nakapag-almusal before pumasok ng trabaho dahil nga gahol nako sa oras. Isang malaking Chicken-Asado-Siopao with a small cup of Gulp Mountain Dew lng ang kinain at ininom ko nung 1hr break ko which was more than 6hrs ago pa.
Even 7/11 which is just below our office di na rin nagpapasok ng customers. I wonder why.
We had none to go to. So, we decided to head back upstairs sa office dahil patuloy pa ang pananalasa ng bagyo at umaabot na sa aming mga paa ang malakapeng with coffee-mate na tubig-baha mula sa ilog. We stayed at the pantry and we’ve waited for hours and hours habang kumakain kame at naghati-hati sa baon kong Rebisco biscuits at Skyflakes, tsaka isang Tempura Cracklings na binili nmn ng katrabaho ko. But to our dismay, the rain pours heavier and the water current flows stronger. Kaya we had nothing to do but to kill the time. Kaya yun! We also even played games ng siete, like Pinoy Henyo of Eat Bulaga na hindi man lng namin natapos dahil nauwi lng sa tawanan at puro kalokohan. May pagkakataon pang umabot sa konting pikunan. Tsk! Even old school horror stories and experiences pinatos na rin para lng machange ang mood. Sabagay, dumidilim na rin kasi sa paligid.
It’s around 5pm as I recall at ganun pa rin ang sitwasyon. It’s one of my first being stuck and helpless for that long and had no direct communication sa relatives. Or worse wala pang tulog. Lolz. :-P

Yes! Uwian na. Pero malakas pa rin ang ulan sa labas kaya we decided to stay for a lil while sa loob ng building gang sa tumila. Then, we had some conversations with our coach regarding sa status of our performance as a Team and as individual. Until we decided to go downstairs to eat lunch at the Riverbanks Mall and have more chitchat.
Since we’ve been working for the company for about 2 years now, hindi na bago sa amen na matanaw ang ilog na mataas ang tubig lalo pa’t walang tigil ang ulan buhat kagabi at may napapabalita pang bagyo. But to our surprise, siksik, liglig, rumaragasa at umaapaw na ang tubig-ilog ng Marikina – And it’s not the usual.
Sayang di ko dala cp ko kaya I wasn’t able to document what’s going on that time. Pero at least yung mga katrabaho ko had a chance to get a glimpse and a snap shot of one historical event. Hehehe. Then a few mins more, nagtunugan na mga cp nila. Text dito, text doon. Tawag dito, tawag doon. It sounded unreal so I decided na mkitawag to confirm the real score. I tried calling our landphone but it keeps giving me a busy tone. So I tried calling it more than a couple of times but I really can’t reach them. Sinubukan ko n lang tumawag sa bahay ng isang kaibigan because I was thinking baka sira lang yung Iine ng phone na gamit ko.
“Hello.” Mesa. Good thing khit di ko dala cp ko para icheck ang phonebook, I was able to recall and dial their no. *Ring – “Asia Walljoy.”

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us HOYOYOY ONDOY > > CHAPTER 1: SERVICE

September 26, 2009
About 2:30am - it was raining so very hard, so I hastily went to the office kahit mejo bumabaha na sa village. Good thing I made it in time for work otherwise I’ll be signing a CAF (Corrective Action Form) for habitual tardiness.
*Tooot... Service... “Sorry to keep you waiting, this is Arnold. How may I help you today?” “Hello?!” Kailangan ulitin ang spiel - Pero wala talaga, “I apologize but I don’t hear any response on the other line. But if you can hear me and if you have some queries with your account and our service just call us back at our toll free hotline. That’s 1-888-322-1122. Thanks for calling Virgin Mobile and have a great day.” Hahaha. It’s a first call – pocket call. So konting petiks mode and at the same time I got an instance to prep some applications as resources for call information.
There it was. The line was on queue for about 8 hours and before my shift ends, pinasukan pa ako ng isang hindi makaintinding customer – which we call mga “shungang kano,” na kahit naipaliwanag mo na ang lahat ng kailangan niyang malaman mapa-verbatim pa yung script or own words mo pa yung description sa information at sa status ng kanyang account, eh mukhang walang naabsorb. “Ma’am these 1000 bonus minutes will not expire on your account. So you may enjoy our service as long as you haven't consumed this airtime balance. Isn’t that great?” Tama naman pagkaka-explain ko db?! Or baka I need to rephrase myself so we can be on the same page. You know... Hahaha.
Badtrip! Nauwi pa sa sup call. Napatumbling na lang ako sa sitwasyon. And as per SOP eh i asked for an assistance sabay transfer cx call sa aming Senior Supervisor aka SUP JPboy. Biniro pa ako na baka commendation call daw yun at nahiya lang akong sabihin - Sana nga! Pero hindi talaga and I guess it wasn’t my day. :-(
